For Sale: 1979 Lincoln Continental in Martinsville, Indiana for sale in Martinsville, IN

Vehicle Description Beautiful turqoise color with matching interior leather seats and carpet.
All original.
Extremely low miles.
In wonderful shape.
I keep it in my garage and so did the original owner.
Driven to church regularly by an elderly couple prior to coming into our hands.
I had a new fuel filter put in it and a the gas gauge repaired, The floater in the gas tank is probably modern now.
I did not install new A/C, because I did not want to disturb any of the original parts.
but I understand that is not expensive to upgrade the A/C if you live somewhere that you need it.
The heater works fine.
The car comes with a fun window on each side that has a triangular glass that rises up and down and acts as a vent in case you don't want to fully lower the main window.
White wall tires.
Matching blue seat belts.
Pneumatic lights work.
Driving this car feels like you are steering a boat with a really soft suspension that just screams luxury.
Heads turn when this car is on the road.
I have a nice book that came with the car from the dealership displaying multiple versions and color options for the Continental line.
I will include this book with the car and I suspect the History Channel Pickers would drool over the 1979-style photography you will find inside of it.
Original 400 cid engine made one year before the EPA required gas mileage targets.
I include a photo of the information sticker regarding the engine.
No dents that I could find.
There is a place on the trunk lid, that in the right light at the right angle you can see where the paint was buffed out, but this is not obvious without careful inspection.
I have a battery charger connected to it; the battery will drain if you do not start the car for more than a month.
It starts easily if the battery is fully charged and the battery is about one year old.
We have enjoyed owning it since 2014 and my wife is the one who fell in love with it and called me on the phone while I was at work when she saw it being sold at the Bloomington Flea Market.
I had to agree to buy it sight unseen just on her recommendation, because it was drawing a lot of interest.
I have never seen another car with this color.
You will be the cynosure of all eyes when you take this baby out of your garage.
I have some regrets with putting up this car for sale, but we are getting up in years now and it is no longer practical for us to keep it.
It is time to pass this classic onto the next generation.
